PondMAX BactiMAX Pond Bacteria will remove ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and organic debris. Including dead leaves, uneaten fish food, and fish waste. Use PondMAX BactiMAX year-round, even in the winter to keep your pond crystal clear. When starting the pond in the spring use a double dose of bacteria once a week for the first two weeks. After the initial dose use bi-weekly for the remainder of the season.
