    Perfect tool for large pools

I have a 40,000 gallon outdoor lap pool that is surrounded by trees. It is always a challenge keeping the pool free of debris. I've used robotic pool cleaners in the past but they would only last just long enough to get past the warranty period. The California wildfires dumped tons of ash into the pool as well. My existing pool filter system is old and I can't ask it to do anything beyond filtering the pool water. I have been using the Advantage mini portable vac II for three months now and is wonderful! There is still a good amount of suction even with an inline leaf canister and 50' of pool hose attached to it. The portable nature of the vacuum makes it really easy to keep everything in one place and to deploy for a quick cleaning session. I highly recommend an inline leaf canister if you need to vacuum anything beyond sand, silt or ash. It isn't fun cleaning out the one way valve or the filter basket every five minutes.
