How to Install Aquascape Urn and Sphere Fountains

How to Install Aquascape Urn and Sphere Fountains.

1. First spray out the area you in your yard where you plan on building your water reservoir basin.

2 .Start Digging!

3. Determine where your Aquascape Pump Vault will be placed. The pump vault should be dug out deeper than where the AquaBloxs are installed. 

The pump vault is usually placed closer to the outlet.

Make sure the ground is level for the Aquascape AquaBlox Water Matrix will be placed.

4. Install Underlayment

5. Install Liner

6. Install Underlay on top of liner. We recommend placing another piece of underlayment on top of the liner to protect the liner from the Aquablox plastic corners.

7. Place Aquascape Pump Vault. this will be deeper/ lower than the AquaBloxs.

8. Add Aquablox.

9. Place fountains to mark desired placement.

10. Fountain Preparation: 

Drill out bottom sides of the fountain with a holesaw. This will allow tubing to run across the top of the Aquablox and run the tubing through the sides of the urns. 

11. Place Aquascape Woven Microgrid Geotextile on top of the Aquablox. This material provides a long-lasting barrier to prevent rock and debris from entering sub-surface water reservoirs while allowing water to easily infiltrate the storage basin. 

12. We have to drill out a larger opening in the top of the fountains using a hole-saw to allow for more water flow.

13. Configure Plumbing Manifold in Valve Box

Illuminating the tops of the urns adds a dramatic nighttime effect. ...

We recommend (1) light per fountain angled away from the viewer.
