Atlantic TidalWave Pump Protector
The number one cause of Direct Drive pump failure is overheating, often caused by running while not fully submerged or while blocked, voltage spikes and brownouts
Regardless of the cause, Atlantic's Pump Protector will automatically shut off Direct Drive pumps before they can be damaged
- Atlantic TidalWave Pump Protector electronically monitors power fluctuation caused by adverse running conditions
- When the current change exceeds either of two pre-set levels, power to the Direct Drive pump is cut off until physically reset, no cycling on and off, no overheating
- TidalWave Pump Protector installs and calibrates to all 120V Direct Drive pumps drawing up to 14 Amps
- Protects TidalWave SH-, PAF-, A- and L-Series Direct Drive pumps against operating dry, current spikes, current drop, thermal cycling and low water flow
