The 1/2″ Ice Melt Tubing 250′ has slits every 24″ and is designed to push warm water from the bottom to the surface to prevent water from freezing. Ice formation can cause damage to your lake or pond and area around it. In other words, this structural damage can include damage to boats, docks, pilings, and anything else in the water. Plus, a frozen lake or pond can cause damage to your fish and aquatic wildlife. Bottom pond or lake water continually absorbs heat from the ground below.
